How to understand the Smart Store Audit, Price Review, Ask Ava, and paid access.
Educational decision support
The Smart Store Audit helps Etsy sellers organize potential shop improvements. A finding, score, recommendation, price review, or AI response is educational decision support and is not a guarantee of ranking, traffic, reviews, conversion, sales, profit, or revenue.
No automatic edits
This version is read-only. You decide whether to make any change and remain responsible for listing accuracy, pricing, product claims, intellectual-property rights, policies, disclosures, taxes, shipping, and compliance with Etsy requirements and applicable law.
Shop Checkup Score
The Shop Checkup Score is a prioritization aid created by The Ava Edit. It is not an Etsy algorithm score, does not represent Etsy’s ranking system, and should not be interpreted as a prediction of marketplace performance.
Automatic and guided checks
Some checks are based on data made available through the Etsy API. Other areas require seller judgment and are presented as guided questions. A flag means “review this,” not “Etsy says this is wrong.”
Pricing
Price Review provides context only. Seller-entered comparable prices are not independently verified market data. A price should not be changed automatically because it falls above or below an observed comparison range. Product type, quantity, quality, materials, personalization, shipping, positioning, margins, and other differences matter.
Ask Ava
Ask Ava uses AI to explain, prioritize, and coach. Evidence-backed audit rules determine automated findings. AI can make mistakes, so important business decisions should be checked against your own shop information and current official Etsy guidance.
Payments and subscriptions
The one-time Shop Audit is a non-recurring purchase for one Etsy shop and one captured live Shop Checkup. If a one-time payment is fully refunded, the associated paid app entitlement may be revoked. It does not include future live re-checks. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically through Stripe until canceled. Subscription access and connected-shop limits depend on the plan selected. Customers can use Manage Billing to update eligible payment or subscription settings. Access may be paused when a subscription is no longer active or payment is not successfully maintained. Any rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
Availability
The service depends on third-party systems including Etsy, OpenAI, hosting, database, and payment providers. Features may be temporarily unavailable when those services change, limit access, or experience outages.
